1. Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Sellstreets for using the Sellstreets Business app, the website at sellstreets.com and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.

3. Your account

  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by staff you add.
  • Give staff only the permissions they need, and remove access when they leave.
  • Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think your account has been misused.

4. Plans, fees and payment

  • Some features need a paid plan. Prices, limits and the billing period are shown in the app before you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Fees include or exclude GST as shown at checkout. Unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. New prices apply from your next billing period.
  • If a payment fails, paid features may be paused until it is made.

5. Selling to your customers

Sellstreets provides the software only. The sale of goods is between you and your customer, and you are the seller. You are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of your products, prices, stock, offers and shop details;
  • the quality, safety and legality of what you sell, and holding any licences you need (for example FSSAI for food);
  • delivering orders, handling cancellations, returns and refunds, and stating a clear return policy;
  • issuing correct invoices and paying your own taxes, including GST;
  • handling your customers’ personal data lawfully and only to serve them.

Tax and accounting figures produced by the Service are tools to help you; check them before filing.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • sell illegal, counterfeit, stolen or prohibited goods, or goods that need a licence you do not hold;
  • publish content that is false, misleading, offensive, or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • send spam or contact customers for purposes unrelated to their orders without consent;
  • attempt to access other accounts or data, disrupt the Service, or copy, reverse engineer or resell it;
  • use the Service for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful purpose.

7. Your content and data

You own the content and business records you put into the Service. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to run the Service, for example showing your products on your storefront. You can export or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Our rights

The Service, its software, design and the Sellstreets name and logo belong to us. We may remove content or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts users at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. Keep your own copies of important records, such as invoices.

10. Disclaimers and limit of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for disputes between you and your customers or suppliers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs we face because of the goods you sell, your content, or your breach of these terms or the law.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy — deleting your account). Sections that by their nature should continue, such as fees owed, liability and indemnity, survive after your account ends.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of India will have jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and tell you in the app or by email about important changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
